Rupee Falls as RBI's Efforts Fail to Boost Value Against Pound

The Indian Rupee (INR) has continued to face pressure from weak foreign inflows despite recent efforts by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to expand rupee trade settlement rules.

The RBI introduced Special Rupee Vostro Accounts to facilitate cross-border payments, but this move has not been enough to boost the INR's value against the Pound Sterling (GBP).

The GBP/INR pair has remained under pressure from subdued foreign inflows and the pound's four-week advance, which is supported by domestic inflation and policy outlook.

Despite the bearish sentiment, the GBP/INR shows established bullish momentum, with a forecasted range of ₹129.055 to ₹130.903 over five days.
