Rupee Falls to 95.84 Against Dollar Amid Oil Price Hike and Middle East Tensions
The Indian rupee depreciated by 30 paise to 95.84 against the US dollar in early trade on Tuesday, September 15th.
This decline was attributed to elevated Brent crude oil prices and heightened Middle East tensions, which increased demand for the dollar as a safe-haven asset.
Anil Kumar Bhansali, Head of Treasury at Finrex Treasury Advisors LLP, noted that the surge in crude oil prices and Middle East tensions have pushed US Treasury yields higher.
