Rupee Holds Steady Against Major Currencies in Open Market

The Pakistani rupee has remained largely steady against major foreign currencies in the open market on August 4, 2026. The US dollar held below Rs279 mark, while the Euro and Pound continued to trade at elevated levels.

The US dollar was being bought at Rs278.6 and sold at Rs279. Meanwhile, the Euro stood at Rs319.25 for buying and Rs323.75 for selling. The British pound (GBP) was available at Rs373.65 and Rs379.47, respectively.
