The Pakistani rupee strengthened against the US dollar on Thursday, gaining 0.01% and closing at 277.72. This marks a marginal improvement from its previous close of 277.75.
On the global front, currency markets were relatively stable, with the yen struggling to retain intervention gains and the dollar hovering near six-week lows. The euro remained unchanged at $1.1557, while sterling traded flat at $1.3469.
The dollar index, which tracks the US currency against six major peers, was little changed at 99.65.
