Rupee Rises to 94.46 Against USD Amid Foreign Inflows
The Indian rupee opened at 94.53 against the U.S. dollar in early trade on Friday, September 4, 2026, before gaining ground to touch 94.46, a gain of 5 paise from its previous close.
This rise is attributed to optimism over rising foreign inflows and a rise in risk appetite, according to forex traders.
However, higher crude oil prices and potential U.S.-Iran tensions could limit further gains, they added.
The rupee has extended its gaining momentum for the fifth straight session, appreciating 22 paise to close at 94.51 against the U.S. dollar on Thursday.
