Rupee Weakness Fuels CAD/INR Gains Amid High Oil Prices
The Indian rupee has hit its lowest level since late July due to high oil prices and strong US dollar demand, causing energy import costs for India to rise.
The Reserve Bank of India's interventions have helped contain further losses, but the rupee remains under pressure. As a result, the Canadian dollar (CAD) against the Indian rupee (INR) is showing bullish momentum with buying interest.
CAD/INR is trading at ₹69.2608, above its key moving averages on both short and long-term timeframes. The Ichimoku Kijun at ₹69.0659 offers immediate support.
