The Indonesian rupiah has weakened against the US dollar, falling to Rp17.614 per USD at the opening of trading on Monday.

This comes as Bank Woori analyst Saudara Rully Nova predicts that the rupiah will continue to weaken in today's trade, potentially reaching a range of Rp. 17,600-Rp. 17,680.

The pressure on the rupiah is attributed to several factors, including the weakening of regional currencies, rising oil prices, geopolitical risks, and expectations of a rise in the Federal Reserve interest rates this week.
