Russia Sets Euro Exchange Rate as Economy Growth Remains Steady
The Central Bank of Russia has set the official euro exchange rate at 100.5980 rubles as of September 4, 2026.
In other economic news, the Ministry of Finance plans to purchase foreign currency and gold worth 55.6 billion rubles in September as part of its budget rule.
Russia's GDP grew by 0.6% in seven months, while deflation was at a rate of 0.01% for the week.
The Central Bank has also raised its forecast for the banking sector's profit to 3.9-4.4 trillion rubles for the current year.
