Russian Central Bank Updates Exchange Rates and Precious Metal Prices on July 28
The Central Bank of Russia has updated its official foreign exchange rates and precious metal prices for July 28. According to the data, the US dollar and euro have depreciated against the ruble, while the Chinese yuan has strengthened.
The Russian Central Bank set the following exchange rates: the US dollar at 78.0172 rubles (down from 78.0308), the euro at 88.7602 rubles (down from 89.1927), and the Chinese yuan at 11.5218 rubles (up from 11.5025).
Meanwhile, significant fluctuations were observed in the precious metals market. The price of gold rose to 10,202.05 rubles per gram, while silver fell to 146.30 rubles per gram. Platinum was set at 4,015.05 rubles per gram and palladium decreased to 3,150.44 rubles per gram.
