Russia's Central Bank Sets Euro Exchange Rate Amid Modest Economic Growth
The Central Bank of Russia has set the official euro exchange rate at 97.3012 rubles as of September 16, according to AKM.RU.
In other economic news, incoming payments through the Central Bank increased by 2.6% in August, and macroprudential allowances have been established for banks' investments in bonds secured by proceeds from consumer loans.
The head of the Central Bank, E.Nabiullina, stated that the trajectory of the key rate will be set to ensure a reduction in inflation to 4% in 2027. She also noted that the economy continues to grow moderately in the third quarter.
The Central Bank has announced that it will keep the key rate at 14% per annum, and several major companies have made announcements about their financials: PJSC 'ROSSETI' received a top rating for non-financial reporting from AK&M, while Diasoft will pay dividends of 168 million rubles, and MegaFon will distribute 10.199 billion rubles in dividends.
