SBI-Affiliated Exchanges Delist Nine Cryptocurrencies
The SBI Group's affiliated exchanges, SBI VC Trade and BITPOINT, have announced that they will be delisting nine cryptocurrencies by the end of October. The affected assets include Aptos (APT), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Oasis (OAS), Build and Build (BNB), DeepCoin (DEP), Jasmy (JMY), OSHI Token (OSHI), Pepe (PEPE), and Official Trump (TRUMP).
The delisting process is as follows: purchases will stop on October 7, with sales concluding on October 28. Any remaining balances will be converted to Japanese yen and credited to customer accounts around November.
SBI VC Trade will also discontinue its staking services for Aptos and Oasis, with the distribution scheduled for October 2026. BITPOINT has begun offering withdrawal services for Build and Build, Pepe, and Official Trump, but withdrawals to newly registered destination addresses will be restricted for a certain period.
This delisting is seen as part of the integration process between BITPOINT Japan and SBI VC Trade, which was completed through a merger in April. The affected cryptocurrencies include some with significant international trading volume, as well as meme coins like Pepe and Official Trump.
