September Rate Hike Unlikely, Could Bolster Bitcoin
Goldman Sachs analysts believe that a Federal Reserve rate hike in September is unlikely due to softening U.S. retail sales, weakening employment data, and easing inflation.
This view aligns with market expectations, as futures traders have priced in a low probability of a rate hike at the September meeting.
A stable or looser monetary policy environment could encourage investors to allocate more capital to risk assets, such as Bitcoin, which has traded between $62,000 and $66,000 since early July.
However, analysts caution that Bitcoin's price remains sensitive to broader macroeconomic factors, including geopolitical tensions and regulatory developments.
