Silver prices have been declining for two consecutive days, trading around $66.10 per troy ounce during Asian hours on Monday.

The decline follows hawkish remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh at the Jackson Hole symposium on Friday.

Warsh stated that policymakers would 'have work to do' if they were not confident cost-of-living pressures were easing for Americans, adding that they must be confident underlying inflation is moving towards their objective 'clearly and at sufficient speed.'

The Fed's next interest rate decision will take place on September 15-16, with markets now pricing in nearly a 57.5% chance of at least a 25 basis point increase next month.
