Silver Holds Firm Near $67 Amid US Treasury's Liquidity Boost
The Silver price has remained relatively stable near $67.00 due to support from a softer US Dollar following the US Treasury's plan to double liquidity support for longer-dated securities.
This move is aimed at easing pressure on US long-term Government bonds, with yields falling after hitting 19-year highs earlier in the week.
Analysts at MUFG/BTMU believe that moderating Fed tightening expectations and Treasury efforts to contain long-end yields will continue to cap Dollar upside.
