Silver Posts Largest Monthly Gain Since January Amid Easing Tensions
Silver prices have been on the rise in European trading on Monday, holding above a two-week low reached earlier in the Asian session.
The white metal's gain is supported by bargain buying and a weaker US dollar against a basket of global currencies, which has eased liquidity concerns amid declining military tensions between the United States and Iran.
Silver prices have seen their biggest monthly gain since January, with an increase of around 17% in August. This surge can be attributed to stronger investment demand, improved risk appetite across markets, fading concerns about liquidity shortages, and rising industrial demand for silver.
