Sonova Hearing-Care Group Sees Revenue Growth and Steady Profitability
Sonova Holding AG, the Swiss hearing-care group, has reported steady profitability and revenue growth in its latest fiscal year. The company's consolidated revenue reached a low-single-digit billion Swiss franc range, exceeding the previous year's level with organic growth in core hearing-instrument markets.
The Hearing Instruments segment, which accounts for the bulk of group revenue, delivered significant sales thanks to new product launches and broader adoption of premium platforms. In contrast, cochlear-implant sales grew compared with the prior year, supported by indications for more patient groups and geographic expansion.
Sonova's balance sheet shows relatively moderate net debt compared with EBITDA, indicating that leverage remains comfortable and leaves room for further investments or acquisitions. The company has historically used mergers and acquisitions to expand its retail hearing-care footprint and add technologies to its portfolio.
