Sri Lankan Rupee Depreciates Against US Dollar Across Commercial Banks
The Sri Lankan Rupee has experienced a slight depreciation against the US Dollar across commercial banks in the country. The US Dollar selling rate has increased to Rs. 333.00 in some banks, with Seylan Bank reporting no change in its buying and selling rates.
NDB Bank saw an increase of 0.20 LKR in both its buying and selling rates, while People's Bank also reported a slight increase of 0.15 LKR in both rates. Commercial Bank and Sampath Bank maintained their previous rates, with the latter experiencing a 0.50 LKR increase in its selling rate.
The depreciation of the Sri Lankan Rupee against the US Dollar has been observed across commercial banks in the country. The buying rate of the US Dollar remains unchanged at Rs. 324.35 for Seylan Bank, while the selling rate is also unchanged at Rs. 333.60.
