Sri Lanka's Rupee Weakens Against USD as Buying Rates Climb

The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated slightly against the US Dollar in commercial banks across the country. According to Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar remains unchanged at Rs. 324.05, while the selling rate is also steady at Rs. 333.30.

At NDB Bank, the buying rate has increased by 0.05 rupees from Rs. 323.70 to Rs. 323.75, with a corresponding increase in the selling rate from Rs. 332.70 to Rs. 332.75.

People’s Bank reports that its buying and selling rates have also increased slightly, from Rs. 324.20 to Rs. 324.25 for buying, and from Rs. 332.24 to Rs. 332.29 for selling.
