Suunto Returns to Profit in 2025 with Surge in Sales
Suunto, a Finnish company that specializes in outdoor and sports watches, has returned to profit in 2025 after two consecutive years of losses. The company's turnover surged by 26.95% to €106.46 million in 2025, compared to €83.86 million in 2024.
The improvement in Suunto's financial position was largely driven by the growth in sales, with operating profit swinging from a loss of €7.37 million to a profit of €2.87 million. Net profit also swung from a loss of €9.08 million to a profit of €4.89 million.
However, the company's profit was partly driven by an unrealized currency gain of €2.32 million, mainly due to the revaluation of US dollar loans owed to its parent company as the dollar weakened against the euro.
