A massive underground bunker for the world's super-rich is being built in the Swiss Alps. Brünig Mega Safe, a project spearheaded by entrepreneur Thomas Gasser, promises to provide top-notch security and protection for its clients' valuable assets.

The complex will consist of 20 or so vaults buried beneath over one hundred metres of solid rock, offering a level of protection comparable to that of the Swiss National Bank. Each cave is sold on a 99-year lease, with a minimum entry price of almost CHF1 million ($1.23 million).

The timing of the project seems spot on, as global instability has led to an exponential growth in demand for secure storage. Gasser notes that people are seeking to safeguard part of their wealth due to increasing uncertainty.
