Swiss Financial Broker Compagnie Financière Tradition Reports Double-Digit Profit Growth
Compagnie Financière Tradition (CFT), a Swiss financial broker listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange, has reported double-digit profit growth for the first half of 2026. The company's group net profit reached 79.1 million francs, representing a 12.6% increase from 70.2 million francs in the same period last year.
The strong Swiss franc had a significant impact on the figures, with revenue increasing by just 2.2% to 646.2 million francs at constant exchange rates. However, if the currency fluctuations were ignored, growth would have been higher at 22.5%. The company's core interdealer broking business saw revenue rise by 10.4% at constant exchange rates.
Tradition attributed its success to the integration of Gaitame's Money Partners Group and strong business performance from associates and joint ventures. The company plans to continue investing in digitalization, artificial intelligence, and data science to enhance front-office operations and make processes more efficient.
