Swiss Franc Bounces Amid Inflation Concerns, Record Trade Surplus
The Swiss Franc has stabilized near its two-week low of $0.81, a level not seen since August 19th.
This is due to rising inflation concerns, which more than doubled in August as global energy prices continued to climb.
However, experts expect the effects on inflation to be temporary, as electricity prices are set to drop by around 4% next year.
The Swiss economy has seen growth, with quarterly GDP confirmed at 1.5%, its highest level in nearly five years.
This is partly due to a weaker Franc supporting exports and contributing to a record high trade surplus.
