Inflation in Switzerland remains low at 0.4 percent, but experts warn that costs could rise in the coming months.

Raiffeisen Chief Economist Fredy Hasenmaile expects inflation to increase slightly towards fall, reaching around 0.7 to 0.8 percent.

The main factor driving prices is energy-related costs, particularly in the Middle East, where developments are a risk for higher prices.

Gasoline and diesel prices have yet to show any signs of recovery due to transportation costs rising by 12-16 rappen per liter.
