Swiss Life Holding's stock has reached near record highs after its first half of 2026 earnings report, which showed an 8 percent increase in net profit to 649 million Swiss francs. This growth was driven by a 3 percent rise in gross written premiums to 12.3 billion Swiss francs, particularly in the domestic Swiss market.

The insurer's management has also announced a new share buyback program worth 250 million Swiss francs, set to run from October 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. This move is seen as a continuation of their focus on shareholder returns and discipline in capital allocation.

Analysts have an average price target of 877.04 Swiss francs for the stock, which is currently trading at 913.80 Swiss francs, just above the consensus valuation line.
