Swiss Life Posts Stronger First-Half Profit Amid Solid Growth

Swiss Life reported higher first-half profit and operating earnings for 2026, supported by stronger fee income, better investment results, and solid growth in Switzerland and Germany. Net profit rose 8% in local currency to CHF 649 million, while profit from operations increased 8% to CHF 967 million.

The shares were down 0.9% at $914.3 compared with a previous close of $922.6, leaving the stock about 5.2% below its 52-week high.

Chief Executive Matthias Aellig said the company grew fee income and fee result across asset managers, IFAs, and unit-linked business, while also expanding the insurance business and contractual service margin.
