Thunes Expands Web3 Infrastructure with EURC Stablecoin Integration
Thunes, a Singapore-based fintech company, has expanded its Web3 infrastructure capabilities with the launch of EURC prefunding. This new feature allows businesses to use Circle's MiCA-compliant Euro stablecoin, EURC, as their liquidity currency for treasury funding and transaction management.
The integration of EURC prefunding enables 24/7 global value movement, bridging digital assets with over 90 fiat currencies. Thunes' network-agnostic architecture supports EURC across major blockchains, including Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), Base (BASE), and Stellar (XLM).
This development builds on Thunes' collaboration with Circle in October 2024, which introduced USDC-powered liquidity to the Direct Global Network. Eligible Members of the network can now use EURC as their preferred currency for prefunding transactions and managing treasury flows.
'At Thunes, we pride ourselves on being early adopters who consistently push the boundaries of payment interoperability,' said Chloé Mayenobe, Deputy CEO of Thunes. 'Integrating EURC prefunding is a natural evolution of our vision to seamlessly bridge traditional fiat with the digital asset economy.'
