Tice Demands Halt to Bank of England's Quantitative Tightening Policy
Richard Tice has called for an immediate halt to the Bank of England's quantitative tightening policy, arguing that it is costing taxpayers tens of billions. He claims to have been the first politician to highlight this issue over two years ago and criticizes the Bank of England as well as politicians Rachel Reeves and John Healey.
Tice has previously warned about the UK's £3 trillion national debt, urging a change in fiscal policy. He also commented on corporate governance after Thames Water granted its finance chief a £1m retention bonus for one year in the role.
