Tinubu Sends High-Level Delegation to Promote Nigerian Investments in Canada

President Bola Tinubu has announced a high-level delegation to represent Nigeria at the maiden Nigeria Diaspora Investment Economic Conference in Toronto, Canada. The delegation will be led by Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila and includes five state governors: Babagana Zulum (Borno), Chukwuma Soludo (Anambra), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), and Dauda Lawal (Zamfara). The conference, themed 'Invest Nigeria, Thrive Abroad,' will take place from August 12 to 15.

The delegation also includes several cabinet ministers: Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu (Foreign Affairs), Jumoke Oduwole (Industry, Trade and Investment), and Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo (Interior). Representatives of various Nigerian agencies will also participate, including the Central Bank of Nigeria, Nigeria Customs Service, and National Information Technology Development Agency.

Nigerian High Commission in Ottawa, Canadian High Commission in Abuja, and other stakeholders are collaborating to organize the conference. Discussions will focus on key sectors such as agriculture, technology, manufacturing, infrastructure, energy, healthcare, and the digital economy.
