Toyota Probox Gets T-Connect, Price Increase in Japan
The Toyota Probox has received an update in Japan, including the addition of standard T-Connect services and KINTO availability. The base price for the vehicle has risen by 47,300 yen to 1,965,700 yen, while the top-end model's price also increased by the same amount to 2,308,900 yen.
The key change is the inclusion of Toyota's DCM communication module as a standard feature on all Probox models. T-Connect adds various features such as Helpnet, eCare support, and My Car Search, which allows owners to check their vehicle's status remotely.
T-Connect requires a service contract and a TOYOTA Account, but is free for the first five years after initial registration. This update follows a previous update in November 2025, where Toyota expanded its safety features on the Probox.
