Treasury Yields Rebound from Fed Decision
U.S. Treasury yields retreated on Friday after spiking earlier in the week following the Federal Reserve's decision to hold interest rates steady.
The 30-year Treasury bond yield dropped nearly 2 basis points to 5.188%, while the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield decreased by 1 basis point to 4.647%.
The 2-year Treasury note yield remained flat, hovering just above the 4.231% mark.
This move comes after a sharp increase in Treasury yields following the Fed's 9-3 vote on Wednesday to keep its key interest rate range between 3.5% and 3.75%.
