Trump Administration Unveils G20 Summit Plans in Asheville
The Trump administration is gearing up to host a major gathering of finance ministers and CEOs in Asheville, North Carolina. The event, part of the U.S. presidency of the G20 in 2026, will mark the first of three major U.S.-hosted G20 summits. Over 1,000 people are expected to attend, including 200 journalists from dozens of countries.
The summit will feature a fireside chat between Bessent and Larry Kudlow of Fox Business, as well as a broadcast by CNBC's Sara Eisen from the event. Key MAGA influencers will also receive access to the gathering.
Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh will deliver a speech at the event. Among the business leaders expected to attend are JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon and Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon, along with other Fortune 500 executives.
