Trump Calls for Fed Rate Cut, Claims US Should Have Lowest Interest Rates

U.S. President Donald Trump has called on the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates, stating that the country should have the lowest rate in the world.

In a statement aboard Air Force One, Trump said 'Rates should be lowered... We have other countries that are paying less interest rates.'

He also criticized Fed Chair Kevin Warsh, saying 'Kevin is fantastic, but he's got a board, and the board members are very political.'
