Trump Threatens to Cut Trade if Interest Rates Aren't Lowered

President Donald Trump has threatened to cut trade with certain U.S. trading partners if the Federal Reserve doesn't lower interest rates.

In a post on Truth Social, President Trump stated that he would stop trading with countries that have a deficit against the United States if the Fed doesn't lower interest rates.

According to Trump, 'A STRONG COUNTRY MEANS A LOWER INTEREST RATE, IT'S A BETTER CREDIT... Very simple! We should have the LOWEST RATE of any country in the World, like 'the old days.'
