TSX and Global Markets See Minor Fluctuations
The global financial markets saw minor fluctuations yesterday, with the S&P 500 rising by 0.05%, the DOW increasing by 0.46%, and the NASDAQ declining by 0.64%. The Canadian dollar weakened against the US dollar, trading at 1 CAD = 0.70952 USD. Oil prices dropped by 3.12%.
The TSX was led by Enbridge Inc. (ENB-T), which gained 0.98%, while Ivanhoe Mines Ltd. (IVN-T) fell by 0.19%. Bank of Nova Scotia (BNS-T) and Toronto Dominion Bank (T-T) rose by 0.7% and 1.19%, respectively.
