TSX Ends Week on High Note with Strength in Real-Estate

The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) ended the week on a high note, driven by strength in real-estate stocks. The index rose 176.44 points to finish at 35,369.10, up 105 points or 0.3% for the week.

Financial shares also saw gains, with Onex Corp and Power Corporation of Canada leading the way. Real estate stocks reversed their previous session's declines, with Colliers International, FirstService, and Altus Group all reporting significant increases.

Healthcare stocks also fared well, but energy stocks wilted due to a decline in oil prices. The Canadian dollar remained relatively stable, trading at 70.91 cents U.S.
