TSX Keeps Winning Streak Alive with 186-Point Surge
The Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) continued its winning streak this week, rising by 186.22 points to close at 36,662.14 on Wednesday.
The Canadian dollar slipped 0.1 cents to 71.73 cents U.S., while some individual stocks showed significant gains.
I-80 Gold Corp and Aris Mining both saw their shares increase by 4.8% and 2.6%, respectively, while Discovery Mining inched up by eight cents to $10.83.
On the other hand, Constellation Software's shares fell by 4.5% after it posted a decline in second-quarter net income, missing quarterly earnings estimates.
