TSX Rises, NASDAQ Declines Amid Market Volatility
The Globe and Mail reported on the performance of various financial markets and assets. The TSX index rose by 0.4%, while the S&P 500 increased by 0.11%. In contrast, the NASDAQ declined by 0.42%.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average also saw a decline of 0.3%. Oil prices plummeted by 2.56%, and the US dollar depreciated against the Canadian dollar by 0.07%. Gold prices rose by 0.32%
On the TSX, WSP-T and RY-T were notable gainers, increasing by 2.47% and 0.4% respectively. KEEL-T, however, experienced a significant decline of 7.84%. SBC-PR-A-T saw a moderate increase of 0.19%
