UK Economy Sees Second Consecutive Month of Growth Amid Sunny Weather
The UK's private sector economy saw a significant boost in August, according to recent PMI data. This marks a second consecutive month of growth after a brief downturn in May and June.
The expansion is attributed to various factors, including sunny weather, which has contributed to the economic upswing. As a result, experts predict solid economic growth of around 0.3% in the third quarter.
The PMI data also suggest that Consumer Price Index (CPI) in the UK may rise further from its current rate of 2.9%, as seen in July's official data.
