UK Gold Prices Rise for Second Session Amid Dollar Softness

Gold prices in the United Kingdom rose for the second consecutive session on September 5, 2026, with 24-carat bullion reaching £106.31 per gram.

The sterling price of gold was boosted by a softer dollar and investors positioning ahead of the Bank of England's autumn policy deliberations.

According to the London Bullion Market Association benchmark, the 24-carat gold price on September 5 is approximately £3,307 per troy ounce.

The 22-carat price stands at £97.45 per gram and 18-carat at £79.73 per gram.
