Ukraine Announces New Exchange Rates: Dollar Falls, Euro Depreciates
The National Bank of Ukraine has announced new official exchange rates for major currencies. On August 27, the regulator set the exchange rate for the U.S. dollar at 44.57 UAH and for the euro at 52.00 UAH.
This marks a decrease in value for both currencies compared to the previous day. The hryvnia has also strengthened against other major currencies, including the Polish zloty, which is now worth 12.10 UAH.
The exchange rates reflect a trend over the past week where the U.S. dollar has depreciated, while the euro, British pound, Swiss franc, and Polish zloty have appreciated in value.
