Ukraine Exchange Rates See Slight Shift on August 6
The National Bank of Ukraine has released updated currency exchange rates for August 6. The data shows that the official dollar exchange rate fell by 6 kopecks, while the euro rose by 9 kopecks.
The current official exchange rates are as follows: US$1 is valued at UAH 44.68 and €1 at UAH 51.62. These rates are slightly different from those of August 5, when US$1 was worth UAH 44.74 and €1 was worth UAH 51.53.
The National Bank also provided average bank exchange rates for the same currencies: US dollars range from UAH 44.46 to UAH 44.97, while euros range from UAH 51.29 to UAH 51.88. In addition, cash exchange rates at currency exchange offices are: US dollars range from UAH 44.64 to UAH 44.75 and euros from UAH 51.45 to UAH 51.65.
The National Bank's data also includes card exchange rates for PrivatBank and monobank, which provide different values for the dollar and euro: PrivatBank offers US$1 at UAH 44.45-44.84 and €1 at UAH 51.30-52.08, while monobank offers US$1 at UAH 44.46-44.83 and €1 at UAH 51.35-52.05.
According to the government's draft budget for 2026, the expected average annual exchange rate of the hryvnia against the dollar will be UAH 45.6 per dollar. It is worth noting that these exchange rates may change throughout the day due to market conditions.
