Ukraine Exchange Rates Shift Amid Dollar and Euro Fluctuations
On August 31, 2023, Ukraine's currency market experienced significant movements. The US dollar rose by 1 kopeck on the buying side and 2 kopecks on the selling side.
The euro, however, declined, shedding 16 kopecks for purchases and 12 kopecks for sales.
In the cash market, the hryvnia traded at 44.40-44.84 UAH per USD, while the euro was available at 51.49 UAH for buying and 52.16 UAH for selling.
The fluctuations in exchange rates have consequences for Ukraine's broader economic trajectory and are closely followed by businesses and investors as a gauge of the country's financial health.
