The Ukrainian hryvnia has shown signs of stabilization in its exchange rate against major currencies. According to the Ministry of Finance, on August 31 both the US dollar and euro experienced a decline in interbank trading.

The dollar opened at UAH 44.55/44.58 and closed down by 24 kopecks, settling at UAH 44.31/44.35. The euro, which started at UAH 51.62/51.64, likewise declined, by 23 kopecks on the buy side and 22 kopecks on the sell side, finishing at UAH 51.39/51.42.

The downward movement in both currencies reflects a broader trend across Ukraine's forex market. The drop in dollar and euro rates could indicate a stabilizing hryvnia, a key signal for investors and businesses.
