Ukraine National Bank Lowers Dollar and Euro Rates to Start September
The National Bank of Ukraine published its official exchange rates for September 1, showing a modest decrease in the value of the US dollar and euro. The dollar fell by 3 kopecks to UAH 44.52 per unit, while the euro dropped by 25 kopecks to UAH 51.63.
This change comes after a previous adjustment on August 31, where both currencies saw a slight decrease in value. It's worth noting that these rates are subject to fluctuation and may not reflect the current market prices.
The government's draft budget for 2026 assumes an average annual exchange rate of UAH 45.6 per US dollar, which is noticeably higher than the current rate.
