Ukraine Sets New Exchange Rates Ahead of 2026 Budget Forecast

The National Bank of Ukraine has set the official exchange rates for August 12. The US dollar gained 3 kopecks, while the euro fell by 3 kopecks.

The hryvnia exchange rate for the US dollar is now UAH 44.86, up from UAH 44.83 the previous day. The euro's value has decreased to UAH 51.75, down from UAH 51.78 on August 11.

A closer look at the data reveals that the budget forecast for 2026 points to a different figure, which could shape financial expectations for next year. According to the National Bank of Ukraine's data, the government has projected an average annual exchange rate of UAH 45.6 per US dollar in the draft state budget for 2026.
