Ukraine Sets New Exchange Rates as Dollar and Euro Rise

The currency markets in Ukraine have started August with new movements, as the official exchange rates for the US dollar and euro were set by the National Bank of Ukraine on August 4.

The dollar rose by 15 kopecks over the day, while the euro increased by 37 kopecks.

The official exchange rate for the US dollar is UAH 44.78 as of August 4, up from UAH 44.63 on August 3, and the euro's rate is UAH 51.64, a rise from UAH 51.27 on the previous day.

The average rates in the banking system vary between banks, with US dollar rates ranging from UAH 44.42 to UAH 45.08 and euro rates ranging from UAH 51.28 to UAH 51.95.
