Ukraine Updates Exchange Rates: Dollar Up, Euro Down

The National Bank of Ukraine has updated its official exchange rates as of August 12, 2026. The US dollar's value increased by 3 kopecks to 44.86 UAH per unit, while the euro's rate decreased by 3 kopecks to 51.75 UAH.

According to Finway, commercial banks have an average buying rate of 44.59 UAH for dollars and selling at 45.10 UAH. The same banks buy euros at 51.43 UAH and sell them at 52.08 UAH.

Currency exchange points also reflect this shift, with the cash rate for dollars ranging from 44.81 to 44.90 UAH and for euros from 51.74 to 51.90 UAH.

PrivatBank and Monobank, two leading banks in Ukraine, have their card rates aligned with these new exchange rates. PrivatBank's rates fluctuate between 44.60-45.04 UAH for dollars and 51.40-52.08 UAH for euros, while Monobank's rates range from 44.63 to 45.03 UAH for dollars and 51.47 to 52.06 UAH for euros.
