Ukraine's Central Bank Cuts Official Dollar and Euro Rates on August 14

The National Bank of Ukraine made adjustments to the official exchange rates for the US dollar and euro on August 14. According to data, the hryvnia strengthened slightly against both major currencies compared to the previous day. The official exchange rate for the US dollar fell by 2 kopecks, from UAH 44.71 to UAH 44.69, while the euro declined by 6 kopecks, from UAH 51.61 to UAH 51.55.

The average bank buy and sell rates are within the following ranges: US dollar - from UAH 44.50 to UAH 44.99, and euro - from UAH 51.33 to UAH 51.95. At currency exchange offices, the average cash exchange rates are: US dollar - UAH 44.80-44.90, and euro - UAH 51.70-51.87.

The National Bank of Ukraine also set different exchange rates for payment card transactions at various banks. For example, PrivatBank's exchange rate for the US dollar is UAH 44.45-44.84, while monobank's rate is UAH 44.46-44.83.
