Ukraine's Central Bank Updates Exchange Rates Ahead of Budget Debate

The National Bank of Ukraine has updated its official exchange rates for the US dollar and euro. The bank set the official rate of the dollar at UAH 44.70, a rise of 5 kopecks from August 24. Meanwhile, the official euro exchange rate fell by 9 kopecks to UAH 52.15.

The updated rates are part of the National Bank's efforts to reflect market fluctuations before the autumn budget debate. The government has set an average annual projected exchange rate at UAH 45.6 per US dollar in its draft state budget for 2026.
