Ukraine's Exchange Rate to Remain Stable Despite Fuel Price Volatility
The foreign exchange market in Ukraine may face increased demand for dollars and euros due to volatility in global oil prices, which could affect fuel imports.
Taras Lesovyi, director of the Department of Financial Markets and Investment Activities at Globus Bank, said that Ukrainian importers may step up their currency purchases as a precautionary measure.
Lesovyi noted that the National Bank will continue to intervene in the market through foreign exchange interventions to maintain stability.
